Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and performance of your blender.

  1. Unplug: Always unplug the blender before cleaning.
  2. Disassemble: Remove the blending jar from the base. Carefully remove the lid and the blade assembly from the bottom of the jar.
  3. Clean Jar and Lid: The glass blending jar, lid, and measuring cup are dishwasher safe (top rack only) or can be washed by hand in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  4. Clean Blade Assembly: Exercise extreme caution when cleaning the blade assembly as the blades are sharp. Wash with warm, soapy water using a brush to avoid direct contact with the blades. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately to prevent rust.
  5. Clean Base: Wipe the blender base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water or any other liquid. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.
  6. Reassemble: Once all parts are dry, reassemble the blade assembly onto the jar, then place the jar back onto the base.

Quick Cleaning Tip: For a quick clean, fill the jar halfway with warm water and a drop of dish soap. Place the lid on, and run the blender on a low speed for 30 seconds. Rinse the jar thoroughly.
