Setup
1. Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock.
- Remove the cover by sliding or gently prying it open.
- Insert one (1) AA battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+ and -) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Unfolding the Clock
The clock is designed to fold into its protective black plastic case for travel. To use, gently open the case until the clock face is upright and stable. The case acts as a stand.
Operating Instructions
1. Setting the Time
- Locate the time setting knob on the back of the clock face.
- Rotate the knob clockwise or counter-clockwise until the hour and minute hands display the correct time.
2. Setting the Alarm
- Locate the alarm setting knob on the back of the clock face.
- Rotate this knob to move the alarm hand (typically a smaller, distinct hand) to your desired alarm time.
3. Turning the Alarm On/Off
A small switch is located on the back of the clock face, usually near the alarm setting knob. Slide this switch to the "ON" position to activate the alarm and to the "OFF" position to deactivate it. The alarm will sound a loud beep when activated at the set time.
4. Night Viewing
The hour and minute hands, along with the hour marker dots, feature luminous centers. These will glow faintly in the dark after exposure to light, allowing for nighttime viewing of the time.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean the clock, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or immerse the clock in water.
Battery Replacement
Replace the AA battery when the clock hands stop moving or the alarm sound weakens. Follow the battery installation steps outlined in the "Setup" section.
