Jiffy Steamer ESTEAM Personal Hand Held Steamer (Model 0601) Instruction Manual

Brand: Jiffy Steamer | Model: 0601

Product Overview

The Jiffy Steamer ESTEAM Travel Steamer is designed for convenient wrinkle removal without an iron. Its compact and lightweight design makes it suitable for various uses. This steamer operates by generating steam from plain tap water. Always use the steamer in an up and down vertical motion. Avoid using it in a horizontal or backward-tilted position to prevent water discharge.

Setup

  1. Fill Water Reservoir: Unscrew the top cap of the steamer. Fill the reservoir with clean tap water up to the "FULL" line. It is recommended to use distilled water to prevent mineral buildup and stains on garments.
  2. Secure Cap: Screw the top cap back on tightly to prevent leaks.
  3. Power On: Plug the steamer into a 120 Volt electrical outlet. The steamer will begin to heat up automatically.
  4. Heating Time: Allow approximately 2 minutes for the steamer to heat up and produce steam.

Operating Instructions

  1. Hold Steamer Vertically: Always hold the steamer in an upright, vertical position. Tilting or using it horizontally may cause hot water to discharge.
  2. Steam Garments: Hold the garment taut with one hand and move the steamer head in an up and down motion over the fabric. The steam will relax the fibers and remove wrinkles.
  3. Delicate Fabrics: For delicate fabrics, hold the steamer slightly further away to avoid direct contact.
  4. Heavy Fabrics: For heavier fabrics, you may need to pass the steamer over the area multiple times.
  5. Cool Down: After use, unplug the steamer and allow it to cool completely before storing.

Maintenance

  • Use Distilled Water: To prolong the life of your steamer and prevent mineral deposits on garments, always use distilled water. While tap water can be used, it may lead to mineral buildup over time.
  • Empty Reservoir: After each use, empty any remaining water from the reservoir once the unit has cooled down.
  • Cleaning: Periodically clean the steam head with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
