2. Product Overview
The Crosman 760P Pump Master is a versatile .177-caliber air rifle designed for both BBs and pellets. It features a durable, water-resistant synthetic stock and a smooth bore steel barrel. This variable pump air rifle allows for adjustable power levels, making it suitable for plinking and skill development.

3. Setup and Loading
3.1 Loading BBs
- Ensure the air rifle is on SAFE (crossbolt safety pushed to the left).
- Locate the BB loading port on the left side of the receiver. Slide the port cover open.
- Pour up to 200 .177-caliber steel BBs into the reservoir.
- Close the BB loading port cover.
- To load BBs into the firing magazine, slide the small button on top of the rifle backwards.
- Point the muzzle downwards and gently shake the rifle to allow BBs to flow from the reservoir into the magazine. The magazine holds up to 18 BBs.
- Once the magazine is full, slide the button on top of the rifle forward to secure the BBs in the magazine and prevent them from flowing back into the reservoir.

3.2 Loading Pellets
- Ensure the air rifle is on SAFE (crossbolt safety pushed to the left).
- The 760P Pump Master uses a 5-shot pellet clip for .177-caliber pellets. Load five .177-caliber pellets into the clip.
- Pull the bolt handle fully rearward.
- Insert the loaded pellet clip into the slot on the side of the receiver.
- Push the bolt handle fully forward to chamber the first pellet.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Pumping the Air Rifle
- Grasp the forearm and pull it down and back until it locks into place.
- Push the forearm forward and up until it locks into its original position. This completes one pump.
- Pump the air rifle a minimum of 3 times and a maximum of 10 times to achieve desired velocity. More pumps result in higher velocity.
4.2 Firing the Air Rifle
- After loading and pumping, ensure the target area is clear and safe.
- Push the crossbolt safety to the right (fire position). A red ring will be visible.
- Aim at your target using the fiber optic front sight and elevation-adjustable rear sight.
- Gently squeeze the trigger to fire.
- After firing, immediately engage the crossbolt safety by pushing it to the left.
4.3 Sights and Adjustments
The Crosman 760P features a fiber optic front sight for improved visibility and an elevation-adjustable rear sight for precise aiming. Adjust the rear sight vertically to compensate for different distances and projectile trajectories.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Crosman 760P Pump Master.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the barrel with a .177-caliber cleaning kit. Use a soft cloth to wipe down the exterior of the rifle.
- Lubrication: Apply a small amount of non-petroleum-based airgun oil to moving parts as recommended in the full product manual. Avoid over-lubrication.
- Storage: Store the air rifle in a cool, dry place, unloaded and with the safety engaged. Keep it separate from ammunition.
6. Troubleshooting
