2. Safety Instructions

WARNING: Fire Hazard! Observe all operating instructions carefully.

  • Always ensure the heat lamp is securely mounted using the provided suspension chain.
  • Maintain a minimum distance of 60 cm (approximately 24 inches) between the heat lamp and any flammable materials or animals when using bulbs up to 175W. Adjust distance for higher wattage bulbs as per bulb manufacturer's instructions.
  • Do not cover the device. Ensure the ventilation slots remain unobstructed to prevent overheating.
  • Use only infrared bulbs specifically designed for heat lamps. The maximum recommended wattage for this unit is 175W.
  • Regularly inspect the power cable for any signs of damage. Do not use the lamp if the cable is damaged.
  • Ensure the electrical outlet is appropriate for the lamp's power requirements (230V).
  • Keep the lamp out of reach of animals to prevent accidental contact or damage.
  • Disconnect from power before cleaning or replacing the bulb.

4. Setup

  4. Adjust Height: Position the lamp at the desired height above the animals, ensuring the minimum safe distance (e.g., 60 cm for 175W bulbs) is maintained to prevent overheating or burns. The chain allows for height adjustment.
  5. Secure Placement: Ensure the lamp is stable and cannot be easily dislodged by animals or external factors. The red rubber ring can be used to further secure the cable or chain if needed.
  6. Connect to Power: Plug the power cable into a suitable 230V electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

6. Maintenance
