Setup

1. Assembling the Monitor Stand

  1. Carefully remove the monitor and stand components from the packaging.
  2. Attach the base to the stand column, ensuring it clicks securely into place or is fastened with the provided screw.
  3. Attach the assembled stand to the back of the monitor panel. Ensure it is firmly secured.

Note: The monitor stand offers tilt adjustment. For optimal viewing, adjust the screen angle as needed.

2. Connecting the Monitor

Before making any connections, ensure both the monitor and your computer are powered off.

  • Video Connection:
    • For digital video, connect one end of the DVI cable to the DVI port on the monitor and the other end to the DVI port on your computer's graphics card.
    • For analog video, connect one end of the VGA cable to the VGA port on the monitor and the other end to the VGA port on your computer's graphics card.
    • It is recommended to use the DVI connection for optimal image quality.
  • Power Connection:
    • Connect the power cord to the power input on the back of the monitor.
    • Plug the other end of the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

3. Powering On

  1. Power on your computer.
  2. Press the power button on the front or bottom of the monitor. The power indicator light should illuminate.

Operating the Monitor

On-Screen Display (OSD) Menu

The OSD menu allows you to adjust various monitor settings. Access the OSD menu using the buttons located on the front or bottom bezel of the monitor.

Common OSD Menu Options:

  • Brightness: Adjusts the overall luminance of the screen.
  • Contrast: Adjusts the difference between the lightest and darkest areas of the screen.
  • Color Settings: Allows adjustment of color temperature, RGB levels, or selection of preset color modes (e.g., Warm, Cool, User).

Optimal Resolution

For the best image quality, set your computer's display resolution to the monitor's native resolution: 1680 x 1050.

To change the resolution in Windows:

  3. Choose 1680 x 1050 from the resolution dropdown menu and apply the changes.

Maintenance

Cleaning the Monitor

  • Always unplug the monitor from the power outlet before cleaning.
