When the display becomes dim or the clock stops functioning, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the steps in Section 3.1. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type (AA alkaline).
5.2. Cleaning the Unit
Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these may damage the casing or display.
5.3. Storage
If you do not plan to use the clock for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage to the unit.
6. Troubleshooting
- Incorrect Time Display:
Ensure the clock is placed in an area with good radio wave reception. Try initiating manual reception (refer to full manual for specific button combination). If still incorrect, set the time manually as described in Section 3.3. - No Radio Signal Reception:
Move the clock closer to a window or to a different room. Avoid placing it near large metal objects, electronic devices (TVs, computers, mobile phones), or in concrete buildings which can block signals. - Alarm Not Sounding:
Check if the alarm is activated (alarm indicator on display). Ensure the alarm time is set correctly. - Dim Display:
Replace the batteries with new ones. - Temperature Reading Appears Incorrect:
Ensure the clock is not placed in direct sunlight, near heat sources, or in drafts, which can affect the sensor.
