3. Setup

3.1. Battery Installation

  1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the back of the unit.
  2. Insert two (2) AA size batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Note: The clock comes with monitor batteries. These may have a shorter lifespan than standard batteries. Replace them with new alkaline batteries for optimal performance.

3.2. Initial Time Setting (Radio Wave Reception)

After battery installation, the clock will automatically attempt to receive radio waves to set the correct time. Place the clock in a location where radio wave reception is good, typically near a window and away from electronic devices that may cause interference.

3.3. Manual Time Setting (If Radio Reception Fails)

If the clock fails to receive radio waves or if you are in an area with poor reception, you can set the time manually.

  1. Press and hold the MODE button (location may vary, refer to diagram in full manual) until the time digits begin to flash.
  2. Use the ADJUST or + / - buttons to set the hour.
  3. Press MODE again to move to the minute setting, then use ADJUST or + / - to set the minutes.
  4. Repeat this process for setting the year, month, and day.
  5. Press MODE one last time to exit the setting mode.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1. Setting the Alarm

  1. Press the ALARM SET button (usually on the front or side). The alarm time will appear and flash.
  2. Use the ADJUST or + / - buttons to set the desired alarm hour.
  3. Press ALARM SET again to move to the minute setting, then use ADJUST or + / - to set the minutes.
  4. Press ALARM SET one last time to confirm and exit.
  5. To activate or deactivate the alarm, use the ALARM ON/OFF switch or button. An alarm indicator will appear on the display when activated.

4.2. Using the Snooze Function

When the alarm sounds, press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after approximately 5 minutes. This can be repeated up to 7 times.

4.3. Activating the LED Light

Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button to illuminate the display with an LED backlight for a few seconds.

4.4. Switching 12/24 Hour Display

Press the 12/24H button (or a combination of buttons, refer to specific model instructions) to toggle between 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour time formats.

4.5. Understanding the Comfort Temperature Display

The clock displays the current indoor temperature. You can set a preferred temperature range. When the ambient temperature falls within ±2℃ of your set comfort temperature, a special comfort mark icon will appear on the display, indicating ideal conditions.

5. Maintenance

5.1. Battery Replacement

When the display becomes dim or the clock stops functioning, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the steps in Section 3.1. Always replace both batteries at the same time with new ones of the same type (AA alkaline).

5.2. Cleaning the Unit

Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these may damage the casing or display.

5.3. Storage

If you do not plan to use the clock for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage and damage to the unit.
