The DD600 is designed to provide a wide range of digital delay and echo effects for musical instruments, particularly electric guitars. It features 11 different delay modes and high-resolution 24-bit processing.

LEVEL Knob: Adjusts the output level of the delayed signal.

F.BACK (Feedback) Knob: Controls the amount of delayed signal fed back into the input, affecting the number of repeats.

D.TIME (Delay Time) Knob: Sets the duration of the delay effect, from minimum to maximum (up to 2 seconds).

MODE/TEMPO Knob: Selects between 11 different delay modes and can be used for tap tempo functionality.

ON/BATT LED: Indicates when the effect is active and serves as a battery check indicator.

IN Jack: Input for your instrument cable.

OUT A Jack: Main output for the processed signal.

PAN OUT Jack: Secondary output for stereo delay effects.

Footswitch: Activates or deactivates the effect.

Setup

Power Supply

The DD600 can be powered by a 9V battery or an optional 9V DC power adapter (not included).

Battery Installation:

  1. Press the two hinges on the side of the pedal to open the battery compartment.
  2. Connect a 9V battery to the battery clip.
  3. Place the battery inside the compartment and close the lid securely.

External Power Adapter:

Connect a 9V DC, 100mA (minimum) power adapter with a center-negative plug to the DC input jack. Using an external power supply will automatically disconnect the battery.

Connections

Mono Setup:

  1. Connect your instrument (e.g., guitar) to the IN jack of the DD600.
  2. Connect the OUT A jack of the DD600 to your amplifier's input.

Stereo Setup:

  1. Connect your instrument to the IN jack.
  2. Connect OUT A to the input of your first amplifier.
  3. Connect PAN OUT to the input of your second amplifier.

Operating Instructions

Basic Operation

Activating the Effect: Press the footswitch to toggle the effect on or off. The blue LED will illuminate when the effect is active.

Adjusting Delay Parameters: Use the LEVEL, F.BACK, and D.TIME knobs to fine-tune your desired delay sound.

Delay Modes

The MODE/TEMPO knob allows selection of 11 distinct delay modes:

Tap Tempo Function

To use the tap tempo feature, hold down the footswitch for approximately 2 seconds until the LED flashes. Then, tap the footswitch two or more times at your desired tempo. The delay time will synchronize with your taps.

Note: The tap tempo function is available in most delay modes.

Maintenance

The Behringer DD600 requires minimal maintenance.

Troubleshooting
