3. Setup
3.1 Inserting the Battery
- Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the camera.
- Insert the rechargeable battery, ensuring the correct orientation as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
3.2 Inserting the Memory Card
- Open the memory card slot cover, usually adjacent to the battery compartment.
- Insert the 8 GB Memory Stick Duo / Pro Duo card with the label facing up until it clicks into place.
- Close the memory card slot cover securely.
3.3 Attaching the Neck Strap

4. Operating the Camera
4.1 Powering On/Off
Press the ON/OFF button located on the top of the camera to power it on or off. The lens will extend when powered on.
4.2 Basic Photography (Point & Shoot)
- Turn the mode dial to the Auto or Easy mode for automatic settings.
- Frame your shot using the 3-inch LCD screen.
