Measuring Distances

Maintenance
Cleaning the Lenses
Gently blow away any dust or debris on the lenses. Use a soft, clean microfiber cloth to wipe the lenses. For stubborn dirt or smudges, apply a small amount of lens cleaning fluid to the cloth and gently wipe. Avoid using abrasive cloths or excessive force.
General Care and Storage
- Store the rangefinder in its protective carrying case when not in use.
- Avoid exposing the device to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight for prolonged periods, or high humidity.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the rangefinder, as this will void the warranty.
Troubleshooting
No Display or Device Not Powering On
- Check the battery. Ensure it is inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
- Replace the battery with a new CR2 3-volt lithium battery.
Inaccurate Readings
- Ensure the target is within the effective range (5-1000 yards).
- Verify that the lenses are clean and free from obstructions.
- For Pinseeker mode, ensure you are sweeping across the flagstick to allow the device to differentiate it from background objects.
- Environmental factors like fog, rain, or very bright sunlight can affect accuracy.
Difficulty Acquiring Target
- Hold the device steady. For longer distances, bracing your arm or using both hands can improve stability.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between you and the target.
