2. Setup and Battery Installation
2.1 Unpacking
Verify that all components are present:

- 1 AAA Alkaline Battery

2.2 Battery Installation
The MicroStream flashlight operates on one AAA alkaline battery. A battery is included with the product.
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Insert one AAA alkaline battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the head of the flashlight.
- Replace the tail cap by screwing it clockwise until it is securely tightened. Ensure the O-ring is properly seated to maintain water resistance.

3. Operating Instructions
3.1 Tail Cap Switch Operation
The MicroStream features a multi-function tail cap switch:
- Momentary On: Lightly press the tail cap switch. The light will remain on as long as the switch is held down. Release the switch to turn the light off.
- Constant On: Fully press the tail cap switch until it clicks. The light will remain on until the switch is pressed again to turn it off.
3.2 Using the Pocket/Hat Clip
The integrated clip allows for versatile carrying and hands-free operation:
- Pocket Carry: Securely clip the flashlight to a pocket for easy access.
- Hands-Free Lighting: The clip is designed to attach to the brim of a hat, converting the flashlight into a headlamp for hands-free illumination.

5. Maintenance
5.1 Battery Replacement
When the light output diminishes, replace the AAA alkaline battery following the steps in Section 2.2. Always use fresh, high-quality alkaline batteries for optimal performance.
5.2 Cleaning
Wipe the flashlight body with a clean, damp cloth as needed. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the lens is clean for maximum light output.
5.3 O-Ring Care
Periodically inspect the O-ring on the tail cap for any signs of wear or damage. A damaged O-ring can compromise the flashlight's water resistance. Replace if necessary.
6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Light Does Not Turn On
- Check if the battery is inserted correctly with the positive (+) end facing the head.
- Replace the battery with a fresh AAA alkaline battery.
- Ensure the tail cap is fully tightened.
6.2 Dim Light Output
- Replace the battery with a fresh AAA alkaline battery.
- Clean the lens with a soft, lint-free cloth.
