6. Programming Instructions

The KLIK1U Clicker features clear and simple instructions for programming. Programming typically involves either using the Smart/Learn program button on your garage door opener or matching dip switches, depending on your existing system.

Programming with a Learn Button:

  1. Press and hold the program button on the Clicker remote until its LED light illuminates.
  2. Locate and press the Learn button on your garage door opener unit.
  3. Refer to the included programming chart (see image below) to determine the correct number of times to press the desired button on your Clicker remote, based on the color of your opener's Learn button.
  4. Press the program button on the Clicker remote again to complete the process.

Programming with Dip Switches:

For older garage door openers that utilize dip switches, you will need to open the front panel of the Clicker remote and match the dip switch settings to those on your old remote or garage door opener unit.

7. Operating the Remote

8. Maintenance

Battery Replacement:

The Clicker KLIK1U remote uses one CR2 coin cell battery. When the remote's range decreases or the indicator light does not illuminate consistently, it may be time to replace the battery. To replace, carefully open the remote casing and insert a new CR2 battery, ensuring correct polarity.
