Setup

1. Camera Placement

Position the camera unit in your baby's nursery or desired monitoring area. Ensure it has a clear, unobstructed view of the baby's crib or play area. The camera can be wall-mounted or placed on a flat surface. For optimal night vision, avoid placing the camera directly facing a light source.

  2. Connect the monitor's power adapter to the monitor unit and then plug it into a standard electrical outlet. The monitor unit can also operate on battery power for portability.

3. Initial Pairing (if necessary)

The camera and monitor units are typically pre-paired at the factory. If no image appears on the monitor after powering both units, refer to the troubleshooting section or consult the manufacturer's website for specific pairing instructions.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off

  • To power on the monitor, press and hold the Power button until the screen illuminates.
  • To power off the monitor, press and hold the Power button again until the screen turns off.
  • The camera unit powers on automatically when connected to its power adapter.

Adjusting Volume

Use the Volume Up (+) and Volume Down (-) buttons on the monitor unit to adjust the audio level from the camera.

Night Vision

The camera unit is equipped with infrared LEDs for automatic night vision. In low-light conditions, the system will automatically switch to black and white night vision mode to provide a clear image.

Connecting to a TV (Optional)

The monitor unit may feature an A/V output port. To view the camera feed on a larger screen, connect a compatible A/V cable (not included) from the monitor to your television's A/V input ports. Select the correct input source on your TV.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Wipe the camera and monitor units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure units are unplugged before cleaning.

Battery Care (Monitor Unit)

To prolong battery life, fully charge the monitor unit before first use. If the monitor will not be used for an extended period, charge it periodically to prevent deep discharge.

Troubleshooting

No picture or sound on the monitor:
  • Ensure both the camera and monitor units are powered on and properly connected to their power adapters.
  • Verify that the power adapters are plugged into working electrical outlets.
  • Check if the monitor's battery is charged if operating wirelessly.
  • Ensure the camera and monitor are within range of each other.
Static or poor reception:
  • Move the monitor closer to the camera.
  • Relocate the camera or monitor to avoid interference from other wireless devices (e.g., Wi-Fi routers, cordless phones, microwaves).
  • Obstructions like thick walls or multiple floors can reduce signal strength. Try adjusting the position of both units.
Picture is black and white:
  • This indicates the night vision mode is active due to low light conditions. Ensure there is sufficient ambient light if you expect a color image.
