Setup

1. Battery Installation

The Cooper-Atkins TC6-0-8 timer requires one AAA battery (included).

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the unit.
  2. Slide the battery compartment cover open.
  3. Insert one AAA battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Selecting Operating Mode (Clock/Timer)

On the back of the unit, there is a slide switch to select between Clock mode and Timer/Stopwatch mode.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting the Clock

Ensure the mode switch on the back is set to the clock icon.

  1. Press the HOUR button to set the hour.
  2. Press the MIN button to set the minute.
  3. Press the SEC button to set the second (usually resets to 00).
  4. The clock will start automatically.

2. Using the Timer (Countdown)

Ensure the mode switch on the back is set to the hourglass icon.

  1. Press the HOUR button to set the desired hours.
  2. Press the MIN button to set the desired minutes.
  3. Press the SEC button to set the desired seconds.
  4. Press START/STOP to begin the countdown.
  5. To pause the timer, press START/STOP again. Press it once more to resume.
  6. When the timer reaches zero, an 85-decibel alarm will sound. Press any button to silence the alarm.
  7. To clear the timer setting, press the CLEAR button.

3. Using the Stopwatch (Count-up)

Ensure the mode switch on the back is set to the hourglass icon.

  1. Ensure the display shows '0:00:00'. If not, press CLEAR.
  2. Press START/STOP to begin counting up.
  3. To pause the stopwatch, press START/STOP again. Press it once more to resume.
  4. To reset the stopwatch to zero, press CLEAR while the stopwatch is stopped.

4. Memory Function

The TC6-0-8 can recall the last timer setting.

  1. After a countdown timer finishes or is stopped, press the MEM button. The last set time will reappear on the display.
  2. Press START/STOP to restart the countdown with the recalled time.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting
