  3. Prepare the Water Bottle:
    • Select a clean, standard plastic water bottle (e.g., 16.9 oz / 500ml or similar size).
    • Fill the bottle with clean, cool tap water or, preferably, distilled water to minimize mineral buildup.

  1. Power On: Once plugged in and the water bottle is correctly installed, the humidifier is ready for operation. The unit typically has a touch control or a knob.

  3. Water Refill Indicator: When the water level in the humidifier's reservoir becomes low, the unit will automatically shut off, and a red indicator light (or similar) may illuminate, signaling that the water bottle needs to be refilled or replaced.
  4. Power Off: To turn off the humidifier, use the control button/knob. Unplug the unit from the power outlet when not in use.

7. Maintenance

Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and hygiene.

Daily Maintenance:

  • Unplug the unit before cleaning.
  • Empty any remaining water from the humidifier base and water bottle.
  • Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Allow all parts to air dry completely before reassembly or storage.

Weekly Maintenance (or more often with hard water):

  • Descaling the Ultrasonic Atomizer: Mineral deposits (scale) can build up on the ultrasonic atomizer, affecting mist output.
    1. Unplug the unit.
    2. Remove the water bottle.
    3. Pour 1 cup of undiluted white vinegar into the base reservoir, ensuring it covers the ultrasonic atomizer.
    4. Let it soak for 20-30 minutes.
    5. Gently scrub the atomizer with a soft brush (not metal) to remove mineral buildup.
    6. Drain the vinegar and rinse the reservoir thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone.
  • Cleaning the Water Bottle and Adapters: Wash the water bottle and adapters with warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and air dry.

Note: Always use distilled water if possible to significantly reduce mineral buildup and extend the life of your humidifier.
