3.1 Battery Installation

  • With MP3 Player: Once the speakers are attached to the MP3 player, audio will automatically play through them. Ensure the MP3 player's volume is adjusted.
  • With External Audio Source:
    1. Detach the speakers from the MP3 player if they are connected.
    2. Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not always included) to the AUX input port on the speaker unit.
    3. Connect the other end of the 3.5mm audio cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, laptop).
    4. Ensure the speakers are powered on (if they have a separate power switch/battery).
    5. Adjust the volume on both the external device and the speakers for optimal sound.

5. Connecting to a Computer

The Craig CMA3015C MP3 player features a USB 2.0 port for connecting to a computer to transfer music files.

  2. Connect one end of the provided USB cable to the USB port on the MP3 player.
  3. Connect the other end of the USB cable to an available USB 2.0 port on your computer.
  4. Your computer should recognize the MP3 player as a removable storage device.
  5. You can now drag and drop MP3 and WMA audio files directly to the player's internal 512MB memory.
  6. After transferring files, safely eject the device from your computer before disconnecting the USB cable.
