Component Identification:

Setup
1. Battery Installation:
- Open the battery compartment cover located on the back of the clock.
- Insert one AA (R6P) battery, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals are aligned correctly according to the diagram inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Note: A battery is typically included with the product. Replace the battery when the clock's timekeeping becomes inaccurate or the alarm weakens.
2. Setting the Current Time:
- Locate the Time Setting Knob on the back of the clock.
- Rotate this knob in either direction until the hour and minute hands display the correct current time.
Operating Instructions
1. Setting the Alarm Time:
- Locate the Alarm Setting Knob on the back of the clock.
- Rotate this knob to move the small alarm hand to your desired wake-up time.
- Ensure the alarm ON/OFF switch is in the "ON" position for the alarm to activate.
2. Activating and Deactivating the Alarm:
- To activate the alarm, slide the Alarm ON/OFF Switch on the back of the clock to the "ON" position.
- To deactivate the alarm, slide the Alarm ON/OFF Switch to the "OFF" position.
3. Using the Snooze/Light Function:
- When the alarm sounds, press the large Snooze/Light Button on the top of the clock to temporarily stop the alarm. The alarm will sound again after a few minutes (snooze duration is fixed).
- Pressing the Snooze/Light Button at any time will illuminate the clock face for a few seconds, allowing you to read the time in low-light conditions.
Maintenance
Cleaning:
Wipe the clock's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the casing and internal components. Avoid exposing the clock to excessive moisture.
Battery Replacement:
When the clock begins to lose time or the alarm sound becomes weak, it is time to replace the battery. Follow the "Battery Installation" steps in the Setup section to replace the AA battery. Dispose of used batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
Troubleshooting
- Clock not working or displaying incorrect time:
- Check if the battery is installed correctly with the correct polarity.
- Replace the battery with a new AA battery.
- Alarm not sounding:
- Ensure the Alarm ON/OFF switch on the back is in the "ON" position.
- Verify that the alarm time is set correctly.
- Check the battery; a weak battery may result in a faint or non-sounding alarm.
- Clock face not visible in the dark:
- The clock features a temporary backlight. Press the top Snooze/Light button to illuminate the dial. The hands are not continuously luminous in the dark.
