5. Setup Guide

5.1 Rack Mounting (Optional)

The PT3300 amplifier is designed for rack mounting and comes with removable brackets. To install in a standard 19-inch rack, attach the provided brackets to the sides of the amplifier using the screws. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit when rack-mounted.

5.2 Connecting Speakers

  1. Ensure the amplifier is turned off and unplugged from the power outlet.
  2. Connect your speakers to the speaker wire inputs on the rear panel. Observe correct polarity (+ to + and - to -) for each speaker.
  3. For Speaker Set A, connect the left speaker to the 'A Left' terminals and the right speaker to the 'A Right' terminals.
  4. For Speaker Set B, connect the left speaker to the 'B Left' terminals and the right speaker to the 'B Right' terminals.
  5. The amplifier supports speakers with an impedance of 2-8 ohms.

5.3 Connecting Audio Sources

  1. Connect your audio sources (e.g., DVD player, CD player, tuner, auxiliary device) to the corresponding RCA audio input jacks on the rear panel.
  2. For devices like MP3 players, smartphones, or computers, use an appropriate 3.5mm to RCA cable to connect to the AUX input.

5.4 Power Connection

  1. Before connecting the power cord, ensure the Voltage Selector switch on the rear panel is set to the correct voltage for your region (110V or 220V).
  2. Plug the power cord into the Power Cord Socket on the rear panel, then plug the other end into a suitable AC power outlet.

6. Operation

6.1 Powering On/Off

Press the Power On/Off button on the front panel to turn the amplifier on or off. The blue LED on the master volume control will illuminate when the unit is powered on.

6.2 Selecting Audio Input

Use the Audio Input Selection buttons (TAPE, TUNER, AUX, DVD/CD) on the front panel to choose your desired audio source. The VFD display will indicate the active input.

6.4 Speaker A/B Selection

Press the A/B Speaker Selector buttons to choose which set of speakers is active. You can select Speaker A, Speaker B, or both A and B simultaneously. By default, both speakers are active when the unit is first turned on.

6.5 Microphone Usage

  1. Plug up to two microphones into the 1/4-inch Microphone Input Jacks on the front panel.
  2. Adjust the dedicated Microphone Volume, Bass, Treble, and Echo controls to achieve the desired sound.

6.6 Remote Control

The included remote control allows for convenient adjustment of various functions from a distance. Ensure 'AAA' batteries are installed correctly.
