Setup and Installation

Follow these steps to properly install your Westek SLC7 Light Control:

  1. Turn Off Power: Before beginning installation, ensure the power to the light fixture is turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
  2. Remove Existing Bulb: Carefully unscrew the existing light bulb from the fixture.
  3. Screw in Light Control: Screw the Westek SLC7 Light Control into the empty light socket until it is snug. Do not overtighten.
  4. Install Light Bulb: Screw your light bulb (up to 60 watts, incandescent or CFL) into the socket on the Westek SLC7 Light Control.
  5. Attach Shroud (Optional): If reflected light is causing the sensor to activate or deactivate incorrectly, attach the included shroud to shield the sensor.
  6. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker or fuse box.
