Setup

2. Installing the SIM Card and Battery

  1. Remove the back cover: Gently slide the back cover downwards and lift it off.
  2. Insert SIM card: Locate the SIM card slot. Ensure the gold contacts of the SIM card face downwards and slide it into the slot until it clicks into place.
  3. Insert battery: Align the battery contacts with the phone's contacts and gently press the battery into its compartment.
  4. Replace back cover: Place the back cover over the battery compartment and slide it upwards until it locks securely.

Connect the charger to a wall outlet and then to the charging port on your phone. The battery indicator on the screen will show the charging status. It is recommended to fully charge the battery before first use.

To power on, press and hold the red power key (end call key) until the Nokia logo appears. To power off, press and hold the same key until the phone shuts down.
