Setup

1. Battery Installation

The Olympus Stylus 830 utilizes a Lithium Ion battery for power.

  1. Locate and open the battery compartment cover, typically found on the bottom of the camera.
  2. Insert the battery into the compartment, ensuring the correct orientation as indicated by the markings inside the compartment.
  3. Close the battery compartment cover securely until it latches.

2. Memory Card Insertion

The camera is compatible with xD-Picture Cards. For optimal performance and storage capacity, a 2GB xD-Picture Card is recommended.

  1. Open the memory card slot cover, usually located on the side or bottom of the camera.
  2. Insert the xD-Picture Card into the slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is facing the correct direction.
  3. Close the memory card slot cover firmly.
