1. Unpacking
Carefully remove the stapler and all accessories from the packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. Report any damage immediately to your supplier.
2. Air Supply Connection
Connect the tool to a clean, dry air supply using a 1/4-inch NPT male quick-connect plug. Ensure the air pressure is regulated between 80-120 PSI. An inline air filter/lubricator is recommended for optimal tool life.

Operating Instructions
1. Firing Mechanism
The SNS41 features a contact actuation (bump fire) mode. To fire a staple:
- Connect the air supply.
- Depress the trigger.
- Press the nosepiece firmly against the workpiece. The tool will fire a staple upon contact.
- To fire multiple staples rapidly, keep the trigger depressed and "bump" the nosepiece against the workpiece at desired fastening points.
Note: Be aware that the trigger is sensitive, and rapid contact can lead to multiple staples being fired quickly. Always maintain control of the tool.
2. Depth Adjustment
The depth of staple drive can be adjusted to suit different materials and desired finishes. Locate the depth adjustment mechanism near the nosepiece. Rotate the adjustment wheel or lever to increase or decrease the staple's penetration depth. Test on a scrap piece of material before final application.

3. Exhaust Adjustment
The 360-degree adjustable exhaust allows you to direct the expelled air away from your face or the workpiece. Simply rotate the exhaust cap to the desired position.

Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your SNS41 stapler.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Staple not driving fully | Low air pressure; Incorrect depth adjustment; Worn driver blade; Hard material | Increase air pressure to 100-120 PSI; Adjust depth setting; Inspect and replace driver blade; Use appropriate staples for material |
| Tool jams frequently | Incorrect staple size/type; Damaged staples; Dirty magazine; Worn nosepiece | Use recommended Senco 16-gauge, 7/16-inch crown staples; Use new, undamaged staples; Clean magazine; Inspect and replace nosepiece |
| Tool double-fires or fires multiple staples | Sensitive trigger; Rapid "bumping" on workpiece; Low air pressure causing bounce | Practice controlled firing; Ensure firm contact with workpiece; Check air pressure is within recommended range |
| Air leak from tool | Loose fittings; Damaged O-rings/seals; Internal component issue | Tighten air fittings; Apply pneumatic tool oil; Consult authorized service center for internal repairs |
| Tool not firing | No air supply; Empty magazine; Safety mechanism engaged; Trigger/contact trip issue | Connect air supply; Load staples; Ensure nosepiece is fully depressed; Inspect trigger/contact trip for obstruction or damage |
