1. Introduction

2. Setup

2.1 Battery Installation

The ConcreteCalc Pro Model 4225 requires one CR2 battery (included). To install or replace the battery:

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the calculator.
2. Using a small screwdriver, loosen the screw securing the battery compartment cover. This design complies with Reese's Law for battery safety.
3. Remove the cover and insert the CR2 battery, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Replace the cover and tighten the screw securely.

2.2 Power On/Off

• To power on the calculator, press the On/C button.
• To clear the display or turn off the calculator, press the On/C button again. The calculator also features an auto-off function to conserve battery life.

• Enter values using the number keys and the Yds, Feet, Inch, and fraction keys.
• Press the Conv key followed by the desired unit key to convert between units.

3.2 Area & Volume Calculations

Calculate areas and volumes for various shapes:

• Rectangular Area/Volume: Enter Length, Width, and optionally Height, then press the corresponding area or volume key.
• Circular Area/Volume: Enter the diameter or radius, then press Circ for circumference or area, or Columns/Cone for volume of cylindrical shapes (e.g., Sonotubes, post holes, columns).
• Polygon Area: Use the Polygon key to calculate areas of regular polygons.

3.3 Square-Ups & Drops

• Square-Ups: To ensure forms are set true, enter the length and width, then press the Sq-Up key to get the diagonal measurement.
• Drops: For drainage calculations, enter the length and desired slope, then press the Drop key to find the amount of fall or drop.

3.4 Stair Layout

The Stair key provides solutions for stair calculations, including the number of risers, treads, stringer angle, and length, to meet project and code requirements.

3.5 Rebar Calculations

Use the Rebar function to quickly determine the total linear feet and weight for all rebar sizes, helping to prevent material waste.

• Truck Loads: Calculate the number of truck loads required for a given volume of material using the Loads key.
• Concrete Bags: Determine the number of concrete bags needed for a project.
• Blocks & Footings: Use the Blocks and Ftg (Footing) keys for estimating the number of blocks or the cubic volume for any footing configuration.

3.7 Weight per Volume & Density

Calculate weight per volume and select measuring units (pounds, tons, kilograms, or metric tons) to determine the weight of concrete for removal or to figure out density for engineering requirements.

3.8 Cost Calculations

Enter the cost per unit to quickly solve unit costs and total pricing, assisting in budget management and accurate material estimates for bidding jobs.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

To clean the calculator, use a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the display or casing.

4.2 Protective Case
