Operating Instructions
Adjusting Watering Range and Width
The Melnor XT4110 features 2-way adjustable controls for precise watering. You can independently adjust the watering range (length) and width of the spray pattern.

- Range Control: Use the sliding levers on the top of the sprinkler to set the desired length of the watering area. Move the levers closer together for a shorter range or further apart for a longer range.
- Width Control: Use the side tabs to adjust the width of the spray. Push the tabs inward for a narrower spray pattern or outward for a wider pattern.

Using the Built-in Timer
The sprinkler includes a mechanical timer that allows you to set watering durations up to 120 minutes.
- Turn on Water: Ensure the water supply to the hose is turned on.
- Set Timer: Rotate the yellow timer dial clockwise to your desired watering duration (up to 120 minutes). The timer will automatically shut off the water when the set time expires.
- Manual Operation: To operate the sprinkler continuously without the timer, set the dial to the "ON" position.

Maintenance
- Cleanable Sieve: Periodically check and clean the sieve located at the hose connection point to prevent debris from clogging the sprinkler nozzles.
- Nozzle Cleaning: If water spray becomes uneven, use the integrated nozzle cleaning tool (typically found at one end of the sprinkler bar) to clear any blockages in the spray nozzles.
- Storage: During colder months or extended periods of non-use, drain all water from the sprinkler and store it in a dry, protected area to prevent damage from freezing or prolonged exposure to elements.
