5.1 Placement

  2. Component Video Connection: If your TV does not have an HDMI port, connect component video cables (Y, Pb, Pr) from the player to the corresponding inputs on your TV. You will also need to connect audio cables separately.
  3. Composite Video Connection: For standard definition, connect a composite video cable (yellow) from the player to your TV. Audio cables will also be needed.

  1. HDMI Audio: If using HDMI for video, audio will also be transmitted. Connect the HDMI cable from the player to an HDMI IN port on your AV receiver, then connect an HDMI cable from the AV receiver's HDMI OUT to your TV.
  2. Optical Digital Audio: Connect an optical digital audio cable from the DIGITAL AUDIO OUT (OPTICAL) port on the player to the optical digital audio input on your AV receiver.
  3. Analog Audio: Connect RCA audio cables (red and white) from the ANALOG AUDIO OUT (L/R) ports on the player to the corresponding analog audio inputs on your AV receiver or stereo system.
