Using the On/Off Function

- Alarm ON Position: When the clock is oriented in a specific way (e.g., with "ON" facing upwards or a designated side), the alarm function is active. A small indicator (e.g., an alarm icon) may appear on the display.
- Alarm OFF Position: When the clock is rotated to another specific orientation (e.g., with "OFF" facing upwards or a different designated side), the alarm function is deactivated. The alarm indicator will disappear from the display.
- Time Display Position: A third position might exist for simply displaying the time without alarm functionality being explicitly on or off, or it might be a neutral position. Refer to the markings on your specific device.
To activate or deactivate the alarm, simply rotate the clock to the desired position. The display will visually confirm the alarm status.
EL Backlight
To illuminate the display in dark conditions, press the "EL" button located on the back of the clock. The backlight will typically stay on for approximately 3 seconds.
Hourly Time Signal (Chime)
The clock is equipped with an hourly time signal function. To activate or deactivate this feature, refer to the specific button or combination of buttons on the back of your device, often labeled "CHIME" or integrated with the "SET" button. Consult the markings on your clock for precise control.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish or display.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the display dims or the clock functions become erratic. Always replace both batteries simultaneously with new AAA batteries.
