- Seat Height: Use the quick adjustment lever to set the seat to a comfortable height. Your leg should be slightly bent at the knee when the pedal is at its lowest point.
- Handlebar Tilt: The handlebars can be adjusted for tilt to find your preferred riding position. Loosen the adjustment knob, set the angle, and re-tighten.
- Pedal Straps: Adjust the straps on the pedals to secure your feet firmly.
4.2. Resistance Adjustment
The Kettler Paso 100 features a magnetic brake system with a 6 kg flywheel. The load can be adjusted from level 1 to 10 using the resistance knob located on the main frame or handlebar post. Turn the knob clockwise to increase resistance and counter-clockwise to decrease it.
4.3. Training Computer Operation
The integrated training computer displays 5 key features to monitor your workout. It also includes electronic pulse measurement via hand sensors.
- Power On/Off: The computer typically activates when you start pedaling or press a button. It will power off automatically after a period of inactivity.
- Display Functions: Use the mode button (if available) to cycle through various metrics such as time, speed, distance, calories burned, and pulse.
- Pulse Measurement: Grip the hand sensors on the handlebars firmly. Your pulse will be displayed on the computer screen after a few seconds. The computer also supports rest pulse measurement and fitness evaluation.
- Reset: Press and hold the reset button to clear all workout data.

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your Kettler Paso 100 Exercise Bike.
- Cleaning: Wipe down the bike with a damp cloth after each use to remove sweat and dust. Avoid abrasive cleaners.
- Inspection: Periodically check all bolts, nuts, and moving parts for tightness and wear. Tighten any loose fasteners.
