1. Setup

1.2 Installing Batteries
The Kodak EasyShare ZD710 uses AA batteries. For optimal performance, use high-quality rechargeable NiMH batteries. Alkaline batteries can be used but may have a shorter lifespan.
- Locate the battery compartment door on the bottom of the camera.
- Slide the latch to open the compartment door.

1.3 Inserting a Memory Card
The camera supports SD/MMC memory cards. A memory card is required to store a significant number of photos and videos. The camera has 32 MB of internal memory for limited storage.
- Locate the memory card slot, usually on the side or bottom of the camera.
- Open the memory card slot cover.
- Insert the SD/MMC card with the metal contacts facing the front of the camera until it clicks into place.
- Close the memory card slot cover securely.

2. Operating the Camera
