2.2 Power Supply

The TU300 can be powered by a 9V battery or an optional DC power supply (not included). To install or replace the 9V battery:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the pedal.
  2. Open the compartment cover.
  3. Connect a 9V battery to the battery clip.
  4. Place the battery inside the compartment and close the cover securely.

Alternatively, connect a 9V DC power supply (center negative) to the DC input jack on the pedal.

2.3 Connecting the Pedal

Connect your instrument to the "IN" jack of the TU300 using a standard 1/4-inch instrument cable. Connect the "OUT" jack to your amplifier or the next pedal in your signal chain. The "BYPASS" jack provides a constant signal output, regardless of the tuner's active state, useful for reference tuning without muting your main signal.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Tuning Modes

The TU300 offers multiple tuning modes to suit various instruments and preferences:

To select a mode, use the "MODE" button on the pedal. The selected mode will be indicated on the display.

3.2 Tuning Process

To begin tuning, simply step on the footswitch to activate the tuner. The display will show the detected note, and the 11-point stream meter will guide you to the correct pitch. The center green LED indicates perfect pitch, while red LEDs to the left or right indicate flat or sharp notes, respectively.

For silent tuning, ensure your main signal is routed through the "OUT" jack and the tuner is activated. This will mute the signal to your amplifier while you tune.

4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

Clean the pedal regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents, as they may damage the finish or internal components.

4.2 Storage

When not in use for extended periods, remove the battery to prevent leakage and store the pedal in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

5. Troubleshooting
