Setup

- Filling the Pepper Mill:
- Unscrew the top knob and remove the top part of the mill.
- Fill the reservoir with dry peppercorns (black, white, red, or coriander seeds). The maximum size for peppercorns is 1/4-inch (6mm).
- Replace the top part and screw the knob back on.
- Filling the Salt Mill:
- Unscrew the top knob and remove the top part of the mill.
- Fill the reservoir with coarse dry salt (rock salt). The maximum size for salt crystals is 5/32-inch (4mm). Do not use wet salt, sea salt, or Guérande salt, even if dried, as this can damage the mechanism.
- Replace the top part and screw the knob back on.
