Operating Instructions

Once properly installed and connected to power, the KING W2420-W Wall Heater is ready for operation. This heater requires an external thermostat for temperature control.

  1. Power On: Ensure the circuit breaker supplying power to the heater is in the "ON" position.
  2. Thermostat Control: Adjust the desired temperature setting on your wall-mounted or in-built thermostat. The heater will activate when the room temperature falls below the set point and deactivate once the desired temperature is reached.
  3. Initial Operation: During the first few minutes of operation, the heater may emit a slight odor. This is normal and will dissipate quickly as manufacturing oils burn off.
  4. Airflow: Do not obstruct the air intake or exhaust grilles. Maintain clear space around the heater for optimal performance and safety.

The patented Smart Limit Protection technology will automatically shut off the heater if it senses potential hazards such as a clogged element or blocked airflow, ensuring safe operation.

Maintenance

The KING W2420-W Wall Heater is designed for minimal maintenance. However, periodic cleaning and inspection are recommended to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

  • Before Cleaning: Always disconnect power to the heater at the main circuit breaker before performing any maintenance or cleaning.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior surfaces of the heater. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or spray directly onto the heater.
  • Grille Cleaning: Carefully vacuum the grilles to remove any dust or lint accumulation. Ensure the fan blades are free from obstructions.
  • Annual Inspection: It is advisable to have a qualified technician inspect the heater annually to check electrical connections and overall condition.
