1. Product Overview

2. Setup

2.1 Unpacking the Camera

2.2 Installing the Battery

1. Locate the battery compartment door on the bottom of the camera.

3. Operating the Camera

1. Select a Scene Mode: Use the mode dial or menu to choose from 22 available scene modes (e.g., Portrait, Landscape, Night, Panorama).
2. Frame Your Shot: Use the LCD screen to compose your image.
3. Zoom: Use the zoom lever (W/T) to adjust the optical zoom.
4. Focus: Press the shutter button halfway down to allow the camera to focus. The focus frame will turn green when focus is achieved.
5. Capture: Press the shutter button fully down to take the picture.

The camera supports video recording at resolutions up to 640x480 or 320x240 at 30 frames per second in MPEG-4 format.

1. Switch the camera to video mode (usually via a mode dial or menu option).
2. Press the shutter button to start recording. A red indicator will typically appear on the screen.
3. Press the shutter button again to stop recording.

Note: During video recording, the camera's autofocus mechanism may produce audible clicking sounds that can be captured in the audio. To minimize this, consider setting the autofocus to single mode if available in the camera settings.

3.4 Playback and Review

Press the Playback button to view your captured photos and videos on the LCD screen. Use the directional pad to navigate through images and videos.

The exclusive on-camera Share button allows for quick tagging of photos for printing, emailing, or organizing when connected to a computer with KODAK Easyshare software.
