Setup

Battery Installation

1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert the 2 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Placing the Bowl

Place the removable bowl securely onto the weighing platform of the scale. The scale is designed to function with or without the bowl. If using the Tare function, place the bowl on the scale before powering on or taring.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

• To power on the scale, press the ON/OFF button. The display will show '8888' and then '0'.
• To power off the scale, press and hold the ON/OFF button for a few seconds until the display turns off. The scale also features an automatic shut-off function to conserve battery life.

Changing Units

Press the MODE button to cycle through the available measurement units: grams (g), pounds (lb), and ounces (oz).

Tare Function

The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, ensuring only the weight of the ingredients is measured.

1. Place an empty container (e.g., the removable bowl or your own dish) on the scale.
2. Press the TARE button. The display will reset to '0'.
3. Add your ingredients to the container. The display will show only the net weight of the ingredients.
