Installation
Follow these steps to install the fluorescent tube:
- Disconnect Power: Before beginning, ensure the power supply to the fixture is turned off at the circuit breaker.
- Remove Old Tube (if applicable): If replacing an old tube, gently twist the old tube 90 degrees to align the pins with the slots in the lampholder, then pull it out.
- Insert New Tube: Align the pins of the new Philips TL-D 18W/18 tube with the slots in the lampholders at both ends of the fixture.
- Secure Tube: Push the tube firmly into the lampholders and then rotate it 90 degrees until it locks securely into place. Ensure the tube is seated properly and cannot fall out.
