Setup

1. Battery Installation (if not pre-installed)

The Fluke 115 typically comes with the 9V battery pre-installed. If replacement is needed, locate the battery access door on the back of the unit. Use a screwdriver to open the compartment, insert a new 9V battery, ensuring correct polarity, and secure the door.

2. Connecting Test Leads

  1. Insert the black test lead into the COM (common) input jack.
  2. Insert the red test lead into the appropriate input jack based on the measurement type:

    • For current (A) measurements up to 10A, use the 10 A FUSED input jack.
