2. Safety Information

CO2 cartridges contain gas under high pressure. Handle with care.
Always wear eye protection when using CO2 inflators.
Keep out of reach of children.
Do not expose CO2 cartridges to direct sunlight or temperatures exceeding 49°C (120°F).
Do not inhale CO2 gas.
CO2 gas is extremely cold when released. Avoid direct skin contact with the cartridge or inflator head during discharge to prevent frostbite.
Ensure the inflator is securely attached to the valve and cartridge before releasing CO2.
Use only Topeak approved CO2 cartridges or standard threaded CO2 cartridges.

4. Setup

Prepare the CO2 Cartridge: If a protective sleeve is provided, slide it onto the CO2 cartridge. This helps insulate your hand from the cold cartridge during inflation.
Install the CO2 Cartridge: Carefully thread the CO2 cartridge clockwise into the inflator head until it is finger-tight. Do not overtighten. The cartridge is now pierced and ready for use, but no gas will be released until the operating button is pressed.
Prepare the Tire Valve:
- For Presta valves: Unscrew the valve core lock nut.
- For Schrader valves: No special preparation is needed.

5. Operating Instructions

The Topeak One Timer features a controlled release mechanism for precise inflation.

Attach to Valve: Firmly press the inflator head onto the tire valve. Ensure a tight seal to prevent gas leakage.

Press the green button on the inflator head to release CO2 gas into the tire. You can control the flow by pressing and releasing the button. Monitor the tire pressure as you inflate. The cartridge will become very cold during discharge.
Remove Inflator: Once the desired pressure is reached, release the button and quickly remove the inflator head from the tire valve.
Secure Valve: For Presta valves, tighten the valve core lock nut.
Dispose of Cartridge: Unscrew the empty CO2 cartridge from the inflator head. Dispose of empty cartridges responsibly according to local regulations.

6. Maintenance

Cleaning: Wipe the inflator head with a damp cloth after use to remove any dirt or debris. Do not use harsh chemicals.
Storage: Store the inflator in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure no CO2 cartridge is installed during storage.
Inspection: Periodically inspect the inflator head for any signs of wear or damage. Replace if necessary.

7. Troubleshooting

Problem	Possible Cause	Solution
No CO2 released.	Cartridge not fully pierced or empty.	Ensure cartridge is threaded tightly. Replace with a new cartridge if empty.
Gas leaks from valve connection.	Inflator not fully seated on valve or valve core loose.	Press inflator head firmly onto the valve. For Presta, ensure valve core lock nut is open.
Gas leaks from cartridge connection.	Cartridge not threaded correctly or seal damaged.	Unscrew and re-thread cartridge carefully. If leak persists, the inflator's internal seal might be damaged; contact support.
