3.1 Charging the Battery

Before first use, fully charge the supplied NP-BG1 Lithium-ion battery. Insert the battery into the supplied battery charger and connect the charger to a power outlet. 3.2 Inserting the Battery and Memory Card

1. Open the battery/memory card cover located on the side of the camera (refer to Image 4).
2. Insert the charged NP-BG1 battery into the battery compartment with the correct orientation, ensuring it clicks into place.
3. Insert a Memory Stick Duo or Memory Stick PRO Duo media card into the memory card slot until it clicks. Ensure the card is inserted with the correct side facing up.
4. Close the battery/memory card cover securely.
