Setup and Assembly

  1. Unpack the Humidifier: Carefully remove all packaging materials and place the humidifier on a flat, water-resistant surface.
  2. Remove Water Tank: Lift the water tank from the base. Unscrew the tank cap.
  3. Fill Water Tank: Fill the water tank with cool, clean tap water. Do not use hot water. For best results and to prolong filter life, use distilled or demineralized water.
  4. Replace Tank Cap: Screw the tank cap back on tightly. Ensure the rubber gasket is properly seated to prevent leaks.
  5. Place Tank on Base: Carefully place the filled water tank back onto the humidifier base. Ensure it is seated correctly.
  6. Plug In: Plug the power cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview

The humidifier features a digital control panel for easy operation.

  • Power Button (): Turns the humidifier ON or OFF.
  • Humidity Control Buttons ( / ): Adjusts the desired humidity level.
  • Fan Speed Button (): Selects between three fan speed settings (Low, Medium, High).
  • Digital Display: Shows current humidity level, desired humidity setting, and fan speed.

Basic Operation

  1. Turn On: Press the Power button (). The humidifier will start operating at the last used settings or default to a medium setting.
  2. Set Desired Humidity: Use the Humidity Control buttons ( / ) to set your preferred humidity level (e.g., 40% - 60%). The unit will cycle on and off to maintain this level.
  3. Adjust Fan Speed: Press the Fan Speed button () to cycle through Low, Medium, and High settings. Higher speeds will humidify the room faster.
  4. Turn Off: Press the Power button () again to turn off the humidifier.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning is essential to prevent mineral buildup and ensure efficient operation.

Daily Maintenance

  • Empty and rinse the water tank daily.
  • Refill with fresh, cool water.

Weekly Cleaning

  1. Unplug: Always unplug the humidifier before cleaning.
  2. Clean Water Tank: Remove the water tank and empty any remaining water. Fill the tank halfway with water and add 2 tablespoons of white vinegar. Shake vigorously and let stand for 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone.
  3. Clean Base: Pour 1 cup of undiluted white vinegar into the base reservoir. Let stand for 20 minutes. Dampen a soft cloth with vinegar and wipe all interior surfaces. Rinse the base thoroughly with clean water.
  4. Clean Filter (if applicable): If your model uses a wicking filter (Style C), inspect it for mineral buildup. If heavily scaled, replace it. Light buildup can sometimes be rinsed gently under cool water, but avoid scrubbing.
