Setup

  1. Place the main unit on a stable, heat-resistant, and dry surface.
  2. Ensure the area around the appliance is clear to allow for proper ventilation.
  3. Insert the removable cooking bowl into the main unit, ensuring it sits properly.

Operating Instructions

Cooking Rice

  1. Measure the desired amount of rice using the provided measuring cup. Rinse rice thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. Place the rinsed rice into the removable cooking bowl.
  3. Add the appropriate amount of water. A general guideline is 1.5 to 2 cups of water per 1 cup of uncooked rice, but always refer to the rice packaging for specific ratios.
  4. Place the glass lid securely on the cooking bowl.
  5. Plug the power cord into a 115 Volt AC electrical outlet.
  6. Press the control switch down to the "COOK" position. The cook indicator light will illuminate.
  7. The unit is fully automatic and requires no manual timer. It will automatically switch to the "WARM" setting once the rice is cooked. The warm indicator light will illuminate.
  8. Allow the rice to rest on the "WARM" setting for 5-10 minutes after cooking for optimal texture.
  9. Unplug the unit when serving is complete.

Steaming Food (e.g., Vegetables)

  1. Add water to the removable cooking bowl (refer to recipe or general steaming guidelines for quantity).
  2. Place the steamer basket into the cooking bowl, ensuring it sits above the water level.
  3. Arrange your food (e.g., chopped vegetables) evenly in the steamer basket.
  4. Place the glass lid securely on the unit.
  5. Plug the power cord into a 115 Volt AC electrical outlet.
  6. Press the control switch down to the "COOK" position. The cook indicator light will illuminate.
  7. Monitor the food for desired doneness. The unit will automatically switch to "WARM" when the water has evaporated, but it is recommended to check food periodically.
  8. Carefully remove the lid, steamer basket, and food using heat-resistant gloves.
