4. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps to safely operate your ROMMELSBACHER RT 350 Travel Immersion Heater:
- Submerge: Ensure the heating element is completely submerged in water. The water level must be between the minimum and maximum immersion marks.
- Plug In: Connect the power plug to a suitable electrical outlet (230V). The heater will begin to warm the water immediately.
- Monitor: Stay near the appliance while it is operating. Do not leave it unattended. The heating process is rapid, especially for small volumes.
- Unplug: Once the water reaches the desired temperature, immediately unplug the heater from the power outlet.

Caution: Never plug in the heater before it is submerged in water. Never remove the heater from water while it is still plugged in.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance
Regular cleaning and proper maintenance will ensure the longevity and efficient operation of your immersion heater.
- Before Cleaning: Always unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
- Cleaning the Heating Element: Wipe the stainless steel heating element with a damp cloth. For stubborn mineral deposits (limescale), you can use a descaling solution suitable for kitchen appliances or a mixture of water and vinegar. Submerge only the heating element in the descaling solution, ensuring the handle and electrical components remain dry. Rinse thoroughly with clean water after descaling.
- Cleaning the Handle and Cord: Wipe the heat-insulated handle and power cord with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse these parts in water.
- Storage: Once completely dry, store the immersion heater in its protective case in a dry, safe place, away from children.
