  2. Mount the Filter Housing: Securely mount the filter housing unit in the desired location under the sink using appropriate hardware (not included).
  3. Connect Water Lines: Connect the cold water supply line to the inlet port of the filter housing and the outlet port to the dedicated faucet. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
  4. Install Dedicated Faucet: Install the dedicated faucet on your sink countertop according to its specific instructions.
  5. Pressure Regulator Valve: A pressure regulator valve is recommended by the manufacturer but is not included. Install one if your water pressure exceeds 60 psi.
  6. Leak Protector: A leak protector is also recommended by the manufacturer but is not included. Consider installing one for added safety.

Important: The operating pressure range for this system is Min 20psi to Max 60psi. The operating temperature range is Min 40°F to Max 90°F.

Operating Instructions

Once installed, operating your Crystal Quest filtration system is straightforward.

  1. Initial Flush: After installation or cartridge replacement, open the dedicated filtered water faucet and allow water to run for at least 5 minutes. This flushes out any air and fine particles from the new cartridge.
  2. Daily Use: To obtain filtered water, simply open the dedicated faucet. The system will provide filtered water at a maximum flow rate of 0.5 gallons per minute.
  3. Monitoring Performance: Pay attention to the flow rate. A noticeable decrease in flow rate may indicate that the cartridge needs cleaning or replacement.
