Setup
1. Initial Winding
As an automatic watch, it is powered by the motion of your wrist. If the watch has stopped, it may require an initial manual wind:
- Unscrew the crown by turning it counter-clockwise until it springs free.
- Gently pull the crown out to the first position.
- Turn the crown clockwise approximately 20-30 times to initiate power reserve.
- Push the crown back in and screw it down clockwise to ensure water resistance.
2. Setting the Time and Date
- Unscrew the crown by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Pull the crown out to the first click position (date setting position). Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can damage the movement.
- Pull the crown out to the second click position (time setting position). Turn the crown to set the correct time. Ensure the AM/PM is correctly set by observing the date change at midnight.
- Once time and date are set, push the crown back in and screw it down clockwise firmly against the case to maintain water resistance.
Operating Instructions
1. Using the Unidirectional Bezel
The watch features a unidirectional rotating bezel, which rotates only counter-clockwise. This is a safety feature for divers to prevent accidental extension of dive time. To use:
- Align the triangle marker on the bezel with the minute hand at the start of your dive or activity.
- The minute hand will then indicate the elapsed time against the bezel's scale.
2. Water Resistance
This watch is water resistant to 200 meters (660 feet). This rating makes it suitable for professional marine activity and serious surface water sports, but not for saturation diving. Always ensure the crown is fully screwed down before exposing the watch to water.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning
To maintain the appearance of your watch:
- Wipe the case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth regularly.
- For the stainless steel band, use a soft brush with mild soapy water, then rinse thoroughly with fresh water and dry completely.
- Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
2. General Care
- Avoid exposing the watch to extreme temperatures or sudden temperature changes.
- Keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields, as these can affect the accuracy of the automatic movement.
- Avoid impacts or drops that could damage the internal mechanism or external components.
3. Servicing
Automatic watches benefit from periodic servicing, typically every 3-5 years, to ensure continued accuracy and proper functioning of the movement. Contact an authorized Invicta service center for professional maintenance.
Troubleshooting
- Watch not running: Ensure the watch is sufficiently wound. If it has been stationary for an extended period, manually wind it as described in the 'Initial Winding' section.
- Inaccurate time: Automatic watches can vary slightly in accuracy. If the deviation is significant, ensure it is fully wound and not exposed to strong magnetic fields. If issues persist, professional servicing may be required.
- Date not changing: Check if the time is set correctly for AM/PM. If the date is stuck, try manually advancing it using the crown.
- Water inside the watch: If you notice condensation or water inside the watch, immediately take it to an authorized service center. Do not attempt to open or dry it yourself.
