3. Securing the Camera to the Fluid Head

  1. Ensure the quick release lever on the fluid head is in the open position.
  2. Slide the camera plate, with the camera attached, into the receiver on the fluid head.
  3. Push the quick release lever to the closed position until it clicks, securely locking the camera in place. Verify that the camera is stable and cannot be easily removed.

Operating the Fluid Head

The Manfrotto 128RC is designed for smooth and precise camera movements. It supports devices up to 8 pounds (approximately 3.6 kg).

1. Panning (Horizontal Movement)

To pan the camera horizontally, loosen the panning lock knob located at the base of the fluid head. Use the panning arm to guide the camera to the desired position. Tighten the knob to lock the pan movement.

2. Tilting (Vertical Movement)

To tilt the camera vertically, loosen the tilt lock knob, typically located on the side of the head. Use the panning arm to adjust the camera's vertical angle. Tighten the knob to secure the tilt position.
