Setup

1. Attach the Adapter Base to your Tripod/Monopod:
   • Identify the mounting screw on your tripod or monopod. The Manfrotto 323 adapter base has a 3/8-inch female thread.
   • If your tripod/monopod has a 1/4-inch mounting screw, use the included 1/4-inch to 3/8-inch adapter bushing by screwing it into the adapter base's 3/8-inch thread.

2. Attach the 200PL Quick Release Plate to your Camera:
   • Locate the 1/4-inch mounting screw on the 200PL plate.
   • Align the 200PL plate with the tripod socket on the bottom of your camera.
   • Screw the 1/4-inch screw into your camera's tripod socket until the plate is firmly attached. Ensure the plate is oriented correctly and does not rotate freely.
   • The rubberized surface on the 200PL plate helps prevent camera rotation and provides a secure grip.

Operating Instructions

1. Attaching the Camera to the Adapter:
   • Ensure the quick release lever on the adapter base is in the open position. This usually involves pulling the lever outwards and/or rotating it.
   • With the 200PL plate attached to your camera, slide the plate into the adapter base.
   • Once the plate is fully seated, push the quick release lever back into the closed position until it clicks securely. This locks the camera in place.

2. Detaching the Camera from the Adapter:
   • While holding your camera firmly, pull the quick release lever outwards and rotate it to the open position.
   • Carefully slide the camera with the attached 200PL plate out of the adapter base.
