Setup Instructions

1. Speaker Placement

Proper speaker placement is crucial for optimal 5.1 surround sound experience.

2. Connecting the Speakers

  1. Connect the cables from the five satellite speakers to the corresponding jacks on the back of the subwoofer. Ensure correct color-matching for front, center, and rear channels.
  2. Connect the wired control pod cable to the designated port on the subwoofer.
  3. Connect the 3.5mm audio input cables from the control pod to your computer's sound card output jacks (Front, Rear, Center/Subwoofer). Refer to your sound card's documentation for specific port identification.
  4. Plug the subwoofer's power cord into a standard electrical outlet.

Power On/Off and Volume Control

Headphone Usage

A headphone jack is located on the control pod. Plugging in headphones will automatically mute the speakers. Unplugging headphones will restore sound to the speakers.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting

  • Ensure the speaker system is powered on.
  • Check all cable connections, especially the audio input cables to your computer and the power cord.
  • Verify that the master volume on the control pod is turned up.

Sound only from some speakers.
  • Check the individual cable connections for the affected satellite speakers to the subwoofer.
  • Verify your computer's sound card settings are configured for 5.1 surround sound output.
  • Ensure the audio source is 5.1 channel compatible.
Distorted or unclear sound.
  • Reduce the master volume and/or subwoofer volume.
  • Check audio source quality.
  • Ensure speaker cables are not damaged or loosely connected.
No bass from subwoofer.
  • Adjust the subwoofer volume (bass) knob on the control pod.
  • Check the subwoofer's cable connection to the subwoofer output on your sound card.
  • Verify your sound card settings for subwoofer output.
