2. Adjusting the Bracelet
The stainless steel bracelet can be adjusted for a comfortable fit. It is recommended to have this adjustment performed by a qualified watchmaker or an authorized Longines service center to prevent damage to the bracelet or clasp mechanism.
Operating Your Watch
Time Display
Your Longines Dolce Vita watch features an analog display with hour and minute hands, and a small seconds sub-dial. The watch is powered by a precise Swiss Quartz movement, ensuring accurate timekeeping.
Water Resistance
This watch is water resistant to 30 meters (100 feet). This rating means the watch is suitable for splashes or brief immersion in water, but it is not recommended for swimming, diving, or showering. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To maintain the appearance of your watch, clean the case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry cloth. For more thorough cleaning, especially after contact with saltwater, use a soft brush and soapy water, then rinse carefully with fresh water and dry thoroughly. Ensure the crown is fully closed before cleaning with water.
Battery Replacement
Your quartz watch is powered by a battery. When the battery is depleted, the watch will stop running. Battery replacement should only be performed by an authorized Longines service center to ensure the watch's water resistance and proper functioning are maintained.
Periodic Checks
It is advisable to have your watch checked every 3-5 years by an authorized Longines service center. This check includes inspecting the movement, seals, and water resistance to ensure optimal performance.

- Battery Depletion: If the watch stops completely, the battery may need replacement. Contact an authorized Longines service center.
Incorrect Time
- Refer to the "Setting the Time" section under Setup to correctly adjust the time.
