Introduction

Setup
1. Inserting the UMD
Open the UMD drive cover on the back of your PSP console. Carefully insert the Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories UMD disc with the label facing up until it clicks into place. Close the UMD drive cover securely.
2. Starting the Game

Saving Your Game
To save your game progress, locate a safe house on the in-game map. Enter the safe house and approach the save icon (usually a floppy disk or cassette tape). Follow the on-screen prompts to save your game to a Memory Stick Duo. Ensure you have sufficient free space on your Memory Stick Duo.
In-Game Menu
Press the Start button during gameplay to access the pause menu. From here, you can view the map, check your statistics, change game settings (audio, display, controls), and load or save your game.
Maintenance
UMD Care
Keep the UMD disc clean and free from scratches. Handle the UMD by its edges and avoid touching the data surface. Store the UMD in its protective case when not in use. Do not expose the UMD to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.
PSP System Updates
Ensure your PlayStation Portable system software is up to date. System updates can improve performance and compatibility. Refer to your PSP console's instruction manual or the official PlayStation website for information on how to update your system software.
Troubleshooting
- Game Not Loading:
- Ensure the UMD is inserted correctly and the drive cover is closed.
- Check the UMD for visible scratches or dirt. Clean gently with a soft, lint-free cloth if necessary.

- Ensure your PSP is fully charged or connected to power.
- Check if any buttons are stuck.
