6. Operating Instructions

The Eva-Dry E-333 operates automatically once placed in an area with excess moisture. No buttons or settings are required during its absorption cycle.

  • Moisture Absorption: The unit will silently absorb moisture from the surrounding air. This process is passive and does not require electricity.
  • Indicator Change: As the unit absorbs moisture, the silica gel beads in the indicator window will gradually change color from orange to green.
  • Recharge Indication: When the beads have turned completely green, it indicates that the unit is saturated with moisture and needs to be recharged.

7. Maintenance (Recharging)

When the moisture indicator beads turn green, it is time to recharge your Eva-Dry E-333 unit. This process renews the silica gel, allowing it to absorb moisture again.

  1. Locate the Plug: On the back of the unit, locate the retractable electrical plug.
  2. Extend the Plug: Slide the button marked "PRESS" to extend the two-prong plug.
  3. Plug In: Insert the unit directly into a standard 120V AC wall outlet.
  4. Recharge Cycle: The unit will begin to generate heat, which evaporates the absorbed moisture. This process typically takes 8-12 hours, or until the indicator beads return to their original orange color.
  5. Monitor and Unplug: Do not recharge for more than 12 hours. Once the beads are orange, unplug the unit from the outlet.
  6. Retract Plug: Push the plug back into the unit until it locks into place.
  7. Placement: The unit is now ready to be placed back into your desired location to continue absorbing moisture.

Important: Recharge the unit in a well-ventilated area. The unit will become warm during the recharge cycle; this is normal. Do not cover the unit while it is plugged in.
