- For Exiting:
- Open the vehicle door and securely insert the HandyBar into the door striker.
- Grasp the non-slip grip handle firmly.
- Use the HandyBar to push up and out of the vehicle seat, transferring your weight to the handle for stability.
- For Entering:
- Open the vehicle door and securely insert the HandyBar into the door striker.
- Grasp the non-slip grip handle firmly.
- Use the HandyBar to lower yourself into the vehicle seat with control and stability.

Using Emergency Safety Tools
The Stander HandyBar includes a built-in window breaker and seat belt cutter for emergency situations.
- Window Breaker: In an emergency where the vehicle's window needs to be broken (e.g., submerged vehicle, electrical failure), use the pointed metal tip of the HandyBar to strike a corner of the side window. Apply firm, direct pressure.
- Seat Belt Cutter: In an emergency where the seat belt needs to be cut (e.g., jammed buckle), locate the protected blade within the handle. Slide the seat belt into the cutter's slot and pull to sever the belt. The blade is designed to be recessed for safety during normal handling.
