Components:
- Food Mill Body: The main stainless steel bowl with non-slip handles designed to sit securely over pots or bowls.
- Crank Handle Assembly: Includes the turning knob and the pressing arm that pushes food through the straining disk.
- Interchangeable Straining Disks: Three disks are included to achieve different textures:
- 2mm Disk: Ideal for removing seeds, suitable for fine purees.
- 3mm Disk: Excellent for ricing potatoes and creating medium textures.
- 4mm Disk: Best for fruit sauces and coarser purees.
- Automatic Scraper: An innovative plastic scraper located on the underside of the mill that continuously sweeps pureed food into the receiving container.

3. Setup
Before first use, wash all components with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Dry completely.
- Select the Appropriate Disk: Choose one of the three straining disks (2mm, 3mm, or 4mm) based on the desired texture of your puree.
- Insert the Disk: Place the chosen disk into the bottom of the food mill bowl, ensuring it sits flat and securely.
- Attach the Crank Handle: Position the crank handle assembly over the disk, aligning the central pin with the hole in the disk. Press down firmly until the handle locks into place.
- Position the Food Mill: Place the assembled food mill securely over a pot or bowl. The non-slip handles are designed to rest on the rim of most standard kitchenware, ensuring stability during operation.

4. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for effective pureeing with your Cuisipro Deluxe Food Mill.
- Prepare Your Food: For best results, cook fruits and vegetables until they are soft. Cut larger pieces into smaller, manageable sizes to facilitate easier milling.
- Load the Mill: Place the prepared food into the food mill bowl. Do not overfill; leave some space at the top to allow the crank to turn freely.
- Begin Milling: Turn the crank handle in a clockwise direction. The pressing arm will push the food against the straining disk, and the pureed food will pass through the holes into the pot or bowl below. The automatic scraper on the underside will ensure continuous flow.
- Process Remaining Pulp: Continue turning the crank until only the skins, seeds, and fibrous material remain on top of the disk. You may need to turn the crank counter-clockwise occasionally to clear any buildup on the scraper.
- Empty and Repeat: Once all the desired puree has been extracted, remove the remaining solids from the mill. If processing a large quantity, empty the mill as needed and repeat the process.

Proper cleaning and maintenance will extend the life of your Cuisipro Deluxe Food Mill.
Disassembly:
- Remove the crank handle assembly by gently pulling it upwards from the central pin.
- Lift out the straining disk from the bowl.
Cleaning:
- All stainless steel components of the Cuisipro Deluxe Food Mill are dishwasher safe. For best results, place the bowl on the bottom rack and the blades/handle on the top rack.
- Alternatively, wash all parts by hand with warm, soapy water. Use a brush to clean the holes of the straining disks thoroughly.
- Rinse all components thoroughly with clean water and dry immediately to prevent water spots and maintain the stainless steel finish.

6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues while using your Cuisipro Deluxe Food Mill, refer to the following common problems and their solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Food not pureeing effectively or mill is difficult to turn. | Food is too hard or not cooked enough. Disk holes are clogged. | Ensure fruits and vegetables are cooked until very soft. Clear any blockages from the disk by turning the crank counter-clockwise or by removing and cleaning the disk. |
| Mill is unstable on the pot/bowl. | Incorrect positioning or incompatible pot/bowl size. | Ensure the non-slip handles are securely resting on the rim of a stable pot or bowl. Adjust the position if necessary. |
| Puree is not smooth enough. | Incorrect disk size selected. | Use a disk with smaller holes (e.g., 2mm) for a finer puree. Ensure all food has passed through the mill. |
